I seem to be on a roll at the

moment .. these are the next

several month's pages for

the UKS sg "page at a time"

cj! She's Vintage sewing/ladies

... mine is 1950s; Irboo's Flora

and Fauna; KJJC's

Fun at the Beach; and

Dorothy Anne's Ladies and

Lace. They are all

digi .. but hopefully still

convey the sense of the

theme.

This is my screen for Leanie .. can
you guess its Carnivale?? She would
really have liked a 4' one, but I didn't have
a big enough box!
The colours are as near to duck egg
blue, cream and brown as I could find ..
I hope she likes it.

Tuesday, March 13, 2012

This is my page for Flo's "Wildstyle Graffiti" cj. She is a
follower of The Canucks ... so that's what I "wrote" on the wall.
I added their killer whale emblem and used their colours.
I hope its OK.

Monday, March 12, 2012

These are the next two
in the "send a page at a time"
cj. Honeypip's " The Fae",
and Shirley June's "Inspired by ..."
I hope they both like them.

These are my pages for the "As Quiet As" book

for our SG. Four from fabric, five of felt; some have piccies printed onto fabric and glued/sewn in place, t'others have bits and pieces glued on and some have the edges embroidered.

This is t'other matchbox shrine ..
for Chupachup2009 ... who likes "aqua and purple".
I couldn't get aqua = water out of my brain, hence the
underwater theme! The outside is a digi paper which
reminded me of coral, with a fish inserted; the
background inside is metallic paper, small shells in
appropriate colours coated in glossy accents and the fish
cut out and glued in. A tassell of shels completed the
outside.

Thursday, March 01, 2012

This is my version for the "screen" swap on UKS.
Its for Creative Moments. Made with printed digi paper,
distress ink backgrounds and die cut flowers
shaped into roses. The leaves are die cut too with
twisted paper stems.

Second lot of "stamp" swaps .. this one is the
"castle/houses" stamp. Again its hybrid .. I
stamped it then scanned that, added the
digi background and printed those; then I hand coloured
them with watercolour pencils and Lumiere paints and
completed them by re-stamping over the top to
give more definition. Lets hope my fellow swappees
like the result.

This is my matchbox shrine for Hotluca

who wanted "dark, mysterious and out there" !!

The tree come from the door of a castle, the "lady" inside is Morrigan, Irish goddess of War, and the tassell and beaded lace was once

part of a risque ladies costume for a roller skating act in the 1920s.

I wonder if that is mysterious enough??

Tuesday, February 14, 2012

This is my own page for a "one at a time page" cj ... you
just send the page, not the whole cj. My theme is
"East is ....." and I thought anything Indian, Chinese or Japanese
would fit the bill nicely. This is Mumtaz Mahal ... for whom the
Taj Mahal was built.

This is my attempt at a four drawer secrets box/book
for Voodoo Vixen, Annette ... themed on Time.
The fastener is based on Dali's warped clock, and
the first drawer contains my version of his jewelled
Eye of Time. There's a pendant which is based on a
clock face lens .. made from ring earring findings and
some printed acetate!! ..a little tag book and some
key charms. It's nowhere near Annettes standard, but I hope she likes it.

Saturday, January 28, 2012

This is my "Secrets" box-book for dorothyanne,

Venice. I hope I have give Anne a sample of the city and she likes the bits I chose for the drawers.

There aren't very many (being a digi scrapper, I don't have much stash) but I did make them all so that might count for something!

This is my "Secrets" box-book for kellmorris ..Life, the Universe and Everything !! Does give me some scope, doesn't it! So, some words on life, Hubble's view of the universe - or at least a very tiny slice of it, a layout for cricket and a view of the fjords .... hopefully there is something in there Jackie will like.

Friday, January 27, 2012

This is my Chunky ATC for the swap on UKS.
The theme is Gothic(y) ... and as I wasn't sure
if that meant "Gothic" as in black leather and dog collars
or Castles, knights and Damsels in distress, I put a bit of
both in it!! I hope my swappee likes it.

Thursday, January 26, 2012

OK .. second page ... prompt = packaging.

Don't have much, most of seems to be mainly green!!

Reminded me of my favourite perfume which has

green and white stripes.

Thursday, January 19, 2012

I find it very hard to be "free" enough to do an Art Journal ...
but UKS have started one where you can learn as you go ...
and you can do it digi!!

So this is my first page .. entirely digi .. the face is just a piccy I liked that I have voided, blended and generally mucked about!!!

I hope its on the right track .. it is a start!

Sunday, November 27, 2011

This is my version of "Stripey Jumper" .. for Lou's
pages in the Artistic License cj. The colours in the trees are skeleton leaves, the trees themselves cut out and coloured with soluble was pastels and the people card and papers embellished with metallic pens. A few swirly, circly bits and that's it!

Thursday, November 03, 2011

These are my versions of the "face" stamp. They are hybrid .. I stamped the image, scanned it and made the backgrounds, faces and eye colour, then printed them out. The hair and frames are done with metallic and pearlised paint. I hope they are OK.

Sunday, October 16, 2011

This one is the Tip-In page for Hotluca. She asked for Funky Floral .. I hope this is up to par.

Saturday, October 15, 2011

This is my version of "O Christmas Tree" for a Tip-In page for Lou. I hope she likes it.
These are the last two of the "dress-form" fairies ...POINSETTIA and STAR.
I hope my fellow swappees approve.

Yeah, another one finished.
This is my interpretation of the Holly&Ivy Fairy ...
essential at Christmas!

Friday, October 14, 2011

Thursday, October 13, 2011

The latest "dress-form" fairy .. Christmas Tree.
As the tree is the "gem" of decorations, so is she!

Thursday, October 06, 2011

These are three of the first four "dress-form" Christmas Fairies

I have made for Netty's swap. The

Frost fairy actually looks more silvery in real life ... with a touch of glitter to catch the eye.

The Bauble Fairy has a round skirt and ribbon bodice .. to hang the bauble by, of course!

Purple Haze Fairy has a misty

purple overlay .. just like the half-light of a Winter evening.

So four down and five to go.

Monday, September 26, 2011

This is my "page" for Leanie, based on a Gachaga "collage"
about the London Underground. The background is an actual
pavement area which is illuminated at night ..which gave me
the idea for the other landmarks:- The Tower of London,
St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, the Clock Tower of
the Palace of Westminster(Big Ben) and 14 St Mary Axe - alias
The Gherkin.

Sunday, September 25, 2011

These are the pieces I have done for the Alice in Wonderland Jiggy ... after loosing my nerve halfway, they are all digi .. and I hope they are acceptable to my fellow jiggers!

Saturday, September 03, 2011

This is my section of a "Home Decoration" spelling out Halloween .. can you find the "L" ?

Friday, September 02, 2011

These are 2" Paisley shaped chipboard pieces for a swap on UKS.

I used patterns a bit like the ones they use to do the henna designs
on hands etc .. even though Paisley isn't Indian at all ... its English!!

Sunday, August 07, 2011

I am hosting a cj based on Sketches. These are the first two ... my own "Sweetie to Sweetheart" - my Mum; and "Deceiving" for Dusty Fairy ... a broken roadway in Florida that looks more like one of those Japanese garden lanterns than a full blown (sorry - just remembered this was destroyed by a hurricane!!) road.

Friday, August 05, 2011

This is my version of the LO for August on
Scrapology. The picture is a tinted postcard,
and I think the young lady is very pretty, hence
the title. I used three kits to make this:
Irene Alexeeva's Altered Ego, Kathryn Estry's
Roses For Elizabeth, and Faith True and Tracie
Stroud's Got Beads ... although I have changed
the colour of most of the elements!!
