Now that I know she has received it I can put piccies of Jane's Christmas Chunky on here.  She asked for Christmas Trees and decorated evergreens .. this is what I came up with.

This is my version of Sant'a Grotto Door, made for Rebecca. The door is semi see-through with glittery ice, iridescent cellophane and holographic foil on it.  The rest is papier mache, texture paste cellophane and  interference paint.  Santa is taking it easy inside .. he will need all the energy he can get in a few months!!

This is the piece I did for Yolanda ... its a replacement as her original  swappee had to drop out, so I hope its OK.

The top one is for GailS .. Witches.  I didn't want the usual Halloween type one in pointy hats so went looking for some "different" ones, and I think I found them.
The bottom one is for Zaraandmax .. based on the witches of Discworld .. turtle, elephants and all!!

Second Jiggy!

These are the pieces for the second Bo Bunny Jiggy.  
The top two are the two sides for Heidi; then Stars for Jo; "Start" for Caroline; and Blinking Angels for Jas.
The next set are - Day of the Dead for Rebecca; Poppies for Chrissie; and Steampunk for Cynthia.
Bottom two are - Stampotique for Karen;  and  Romantic Goth for me.

OK, these are the kilt pins I have made for Xmasbaby and Suzycad.

The top one has a "spooky" theme .. skulls and webs and bats etc;  I was given the options of turquoise, teal or aqua as colours and as I had more turquoise .. well this is what came out of it!!  Hope they both like my efforts.

These are my "Fat Book" pages ..... based on masks used in the Venetion Carnivale.  I hadn't banked on how awkward they would be to make, but I'm stubborn, so I got there eventually.  I hope the recipients like them!!

This is the Kilt Pin I made for Jas ... her theme was Steampunkesk ... so a few clock pieces, cogs, keys, chain and flutterbys later, this is what came out.  I'm quite pleased with it .. and I think she likes it too.  Great!

I'm in two groups for the Bo Bunny jiggy swap .. and these are my first set.

Top one is for Leanie _ Books; second is mine _ Heraldry;  next two, bottom left Karen _ weirdly wonderful; bottom right, Yolanda _ Fairies; next Stan _ Purple Princess Punk; next four ... top corner was Lexi with Miniature Gardens: top right Jane _ Trees & woods; middle left Helen _ wild animals; middle right Rebecca _ Day of the Dead.

The top three _ Back To School _ are for Cherie for the BlissfulATC swap.  Its a bit of a sideways take on the theme, so I hope she likes them.

The bottom one is for Peggy _ she won the WTA for July and her theme was "Sunshine" ... again a bit of a different take on the theme, but I think she will see where I'm coming from!!

My take on August's theme for the card swap .. Travel/transport/label-tag-etc.   They are all the same, except, obviously, for the colour!   From the Hobby Horse type to the Pedal operated Bicycle ... and just think where we are now!!

One of my friends on UKS, Karen, didn't get a chunky in the last Halloween swap .. where it went is anyone's guess but it never made it to her!!  Sooo.... Rebecca asked me to make her one .. preferably before this year's swap!  This is the result .. and from what I have heard, she may actually like it a bit.  I do hope so.

Another chunky swap on UKS .. with an open theme!!  This is for Jo, based on characters by Victor Nizovtsev and a piccy on a pinterest pin by Jo.

This is the latest Chunky  for bits .. for Jas, theme House of Horror and Ray Harryhausen, hence the skeleton on top!!  The front and back are Ray's Medusa and Kraken, the sides hold a Vampire and the HOH poster.  (Aparently they have called the skelly "Steve" !! and he scares the living daylights out of their cat .. sorry puddytat.)

These are this months ATCs for the BlissfulATC swap.  Top threee, theme of "Periwinkle Blue" are for Laura; t'other one is for Peggy .. theme is Lace ... for winning the WTA.  I do hope they like them.

Another two Mail Art cards ... top one is for Ali ... sort of Medieval with Illuminated letter and a unicorn: t'other is for Lexi ... all Circus, both animals and acrobats.  Hope they like them.

The latest finished pieces ... top one is a wall hanging for Scrappyyo - bright with a funny but inspirational saying is what she wanted, well, it is certainly bright and the saying reads .. My room is not messy . it is an obstacle course designed to help me stay fit!!  : the next two are my first attempts at Mail Art (I have blurred out the addresses) .. the China one is for Mistyrat and the Ancient Egyptian is for Scrappyyo:  the last one is my sets of Inchies and Twinchies -- Indigo, Mad Hatter and March Hare, Ladies .. Mona Lisa and Flapper.

These are the latest chunkies ...two for a swap on UKS and one for my "chunkie for bits".
The top one is for Poet Crafty .. popular music based on The Beatles; the middle one is for Wisher .. the Olde Sweet Shoppe - with a "dangling feet in water/waterfall" in the middle!!  That leaves the bottom one - for Scrappyyo, well her daughter really - music especially the clarinet .. so classical on the outside, and Jazz in the middle!!

I hope they like them.

This is my contribution to the Altered Chinese Whispers swap on my social group on UKS.  I shall email a picture of it to the next swapee and she can make something inspired by it .. well, that's the idea!!

challenge LO

I saw this sketch at Creative Craft World and, as I haven't made any LOs for ages, I decided to enter their challenge.  The design was ideal for my favourite subject, Carnivale.  You can find their challenges here ...http://creativecraftworld.blogspot.co.uk/

His name is Oliver; he is two years old; he has a very rare disease which will turn his muscles to bone, making him a living statue ...... and his Mum has requested her fellow scrappers on UKS to make some cards to help raise money for research into a cure.   I am not a card maker but with such a deserving cause how could I not try.   These are the results.

This is my take on Vintage Sci-Fi, for Rebecca .. I hope she approves.   I couldn't find any robots small enough yet strong enough to hold the chunky, so I made my own version.  The rather oversized moon has a map on it , mostly obscured by the applied texture. The films are Metropolis .. one of the first to have a robot, and a lady one at that!; From Earth to the Moon; Forbidden Planet - with Robbie the Robot, who became such a star he appeared in several other films and TV shows!; and Lost in Space, with B-9 (is that a pun on benign, as in "do no harm"??)

These are the latest Chunky for bits!!  Top one is for Tuppence, 1960s theme ... a bit of this and that including, of course, "flower power" ! Bottom one for Kitty Crafts .. apothecary/potions & poisons!!  No bird skulls but a few others and some weird sounding poisons!  Hope they like them.

These are my contribution to Sian's Mini Canvas Triptych .. made for Suzy.  Her theme was shabby chic, tattered, wings, neutral off white with touches of pale pink and aqua.  Oh, and some words.  I hope she approves.

These are my contribution to Karen's Inchie Twinchie swap on UKS.  Although a digi scrapper, I have made these completely "papeer" ... a background of Distress Inks, liquid watercolours and pro-markers.  Every one is hand stamped .. I'm glad it was only three groups!!

These are the latest in my Chunky for ?? swap.  The top one is for JoPink -- Pastel Victorian.  I coloured some old postcards, used flower braid, lace  and some of the embellishments sent to me by former swappees!

The second one is for Elliebaby -- Butterflies.  I have used all sorts, feather, 3d, metallic charms and a pendant with some 3d elements.  These rest of flowers and trees ontop of a flowery background.

I hope they both like them.
