OK, these are the kilt pins I have made for Xmasbaby and Suzycad.

The top one has a "spooky" theme .. skulls and webs and bats etc;  I was given the options of turquoise, teal or aqua as colours and as I had more turquoise .. well this is what came out of it!!  Hope they both like my efforts.
